Several significant changes here at International HQ…first of all (and clients will be receiving an email with more details) we have incorporated. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Bryan Peters and his diligent crack legal team at SNJ Law, we are now known as “The Chez Koop Corporation”. Heady stuff, I know. Of course with this comes the requisite setting up of off-shore accounts in the Caymans as well as Switzerland, serving on the board of Directors and networking with other large corporations…the daily routine of an international conglomerate. Also new, is the Chezse Lounge. In our corporate lounge we now have a “chezse” lounge. Feel free to stop by and relax in Steinbach’s newest and coolest lounge. While we are international, please know that our focus and commitment to you has and will not waver. As Bryan Adams sang, “Everything we do, we do it for you.” And as Josh Groban sang, “You raise me up”. Rise up potential client! Walk on stormy seas, stand on mountains with Chez Koop. Chezlom to all.
From Boy on Buoy…
I wish my name was Stan so I could sign (rap) every email with this:
Anyways, I hope you get this man, hit me back,
Just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan
This is Stan.
That would be really sick.
I was pretty pumped to see the new Wedluxe wedding magazine. I designed an ad for renown Vancouver photographer Sherri Koop (no relation – really) and the ad ran in the magazine. It is a gorgeously designed mag so it was an honour to have an ad in it.
Lord Adrian informs me that I must sort the paper more accurately. Added to my list…(seriously, that guy needs a girlfriend if you know what I mean).
As you may have read, 2012 is the year of International Peace. We have admittedly come to the “peace party” a little late. Not that we condoned violence before… regardless imagine a chez Koop campaign with the Dove soap company. Their dove representing the peace we are trying to achieve. Every day, millions of potential clients would lather themselves with chez koop “dove” inspired soap. that’s a lot of fresh, clean clients (I will leave it at that). Starting in 2012, our official term (or phrase) of endearment will be “I dove you” – an attempt to send a message of peace to all. No dove – no love…get on board. Use Dove soap…think of Chez Koop and Love the Dove! Chezlom!
(please note that at the time of this posting no formal association with Dove soap is in place)
I will not save everything to my desktop (even though it is an SSD and ridiculously fast, more efficient, always in one place and makes me look busy when clients walk in). No. I take it back. I love saving files to my desktop. That’s how I roll. I found love in an awkward place…my desktop.
Well…it’s that time of year again. I will begin to log my many resolutions. Here are two that I am committing to.
One, i will attempt to limit my use of overset text in InDesign. Two, I will attempt to resize my text boxes, also in Indesign.
Bonus Resolution: I will love Rudy Nikkel harder…
Christmas card I designed for SNJ
(illustration purchased). SNJ logo
designed by Chez Koop but with a cool twist for Christmas with white outline. Christmas feather tree (my favorite Christmas decoration), Xerox White 80 lb glossy text paper (love that paper to the touch), the Vikings (even though it’s been a tough year) and my silver couch (which I have had a few naps on – yes I do nap). And the picture taken on my iPhone (and blogged from).
