Over the summer, we embarked on a project to redesign the entire Hanover School Division website network. In September 2015 we launched the WordPress multi-site network with the first school websites and the overall HSD website. Throughout fall we rolled out the remaining 11 school sites using WP Engine to deliver a speedy, cross-platform interface. Administrators have control over all sites in the division, while each school can customize and update their site to suit their needs. This combined with a user-friendly, consistent & responsive design makes the site simple to use no matter what device visitors are using. With mobile web browsing being more important than ever, we used a Content Delivery Network (CDN) & various caching processes to ensure the site is delivered as speedily as possible. Check out HSD.ca.
