Hanover School Division is located southeast of Winnipeg and serves 19 schools in the communities of Landmark, Niverville, Bothwell, Blumenort, Mitchell, Kleefeld, Grunthal, Crystal Springs and Steinbach. When we began working with the school division, their key goal was to develop marketing materials that maintained brand consistency that also represented their diversity and educational excellence. Working alongside the division’s marketing team, we have had the opportunity to work on everything from business cards and advertisements, to their quarterly Learning Matters magazine and website.

In designing a new website, the division needed to consider that they needed a website that not only worked for them, but that could also be used for each of its 18 schools as well. This presented a unique design challenge as each school had its own brand, colours and initiatives that needed to be represented within the Hanover School Division design. In combination with the division’s marketing team and the teams at each individual school, we were able to develop a site that no only reflects the division and each school, but that also is easy to navigate and easy for the teams at each school to update so that information is kept relevant to their students, parents, teachers and community as a whole. This user experience is consistent for students and parents regardless of whatever elementary, middle school or high school they attend.
