Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame
It was an honour to be asked to design the logo for the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. As avid sports enthusiasts, well, except Adrian, we love designing sports related materials. This logo is based on the unique building the Hall moved to in the exchange district of Winnipeg, while still being distinctly “Manitoban”. And to have our logo beside Dale ‘Ducky” Hawerchuk’s jersey, that’s crushing it.
The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame was starting fresh in its new location at 145 Pacific and had already been through three distinct logo changes. None of those logos gave us our own identity; one was too busy, another too bland… We were ready for something exciting to brand our Hall of Fame and its new gallery. Chez Koop to the rescue! Bold and simple enough to use with or without text, but clever enough to make people stop, look and think.
